An expert in the field of digitalization and commerce transformation, especially sales systems. He has worked for Unity Group since 1997, initially as the main programmer, and has been a shareholder since 1998 and a member of the board since 2003. In 1997, years before Amazon and Google were established, he created the first online bookstore in Poland.

He has actively participated in the implementation of numerous B2C and B2B e-commerce solutions for the company's key customers, such as Euro-Net, BRW SA, Leroy Merlin and Publio.pl (from the Agora Group). He is the author of numerous publications, co-author of books and a speaker at many conferences devoted to e-commerce.

Robert Plawiak has served as CIDO/CTO at Polpharma since November 2022, and CEO of IT Shared Services at Pelion Group from 2018-2022.

A graduate of the Military University of Technology, he holds an MBA from the Warsaw School of Economics. In 2022, he graduated from Cambridge University School in Digital Disruption Transformation & Strategy. He has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance, banking, leasing, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors in CIDO, CTO and CISO positions. He gained these by managing processes related to digitization, IT, project and program management, cyber security, IT strategy building and execution and strategy, OT and IT convergence. Robert is also active member of CIONET, PMI, ISACA, and ISSA communities.

Arkadiusz Wróbel, as IT Director at LPP SA and Vice President of Silky Coders, was responsible for the development, implementation, solution writing and maintenance of LPP's IT systems, including e-commerce. His area also included the PMO and a team of system analysts.

Arkadiusz Wróbel was with LPP from 2016 to 2023, initially serving as IT director and expanding the IT functional area. He consolidated IT services, creating an IT service center for LPP and foreign companies. At the company, he oversaw the implementation of the company's strategic projects such as the implementation of RFID technology, the development of the logistics network, and the development of e-commerce, among others.

His previous professional experience included working for over 10 years at Euro-net (RTV Euro AGD brand) developing systems, including managing the construction of online stores. Previously, he held the position of manager responsible for the implementation of projects on individual orders. Born in 1972, he graduated from the Automation Department at Warsaw University of Technology, completed IT Governance at the Warsaw School of Economics and is an Advanced Executive at the Harvard Business School (ICAN Institute).

A graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Andrzej has been involved with IT and modern technologies for more than 20 years. He is currently responsible for the IT area as a Member of the Management Board of Leroy Merlin Poland. He gained his experience as CIO at InPost Group, and in 2017-2019 he was CIO and Vice President of the Board at Tauron Group. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at BNP Paribas Bank as CIO, where he also coordinated the innovation center.

Andrzej has a track record of several major IT transformations and many successful implementation projects, including bank mergers. In 2021, he was named CDO of the Year by Forbes and Business Insider.

2014

The very first CDE (Congress of E-Commerce Directors) saw 90 guests and speakers attend in Krakow – including partners from Raben, Oracle and payU.

2015

CDE returned for a second successful year. This time, 110 guests and speakers attended, including partners from GO.pl, Freshmail, Przelewy24 and Raben.

2016

130 individuals attended the 3rd edition of CDE, once more in Krakow. Key partners included Dotpay, Poczta Polska, Trusted Shops, Data Space and Mall.pl.

2017

Moving to Wroclaw, the 4th edition of CDE includes 150 guests and speakers, including partners from Przelewy24, Raben, Emarsys, Sente, EmailLabs and Quarticon
